Neon Lights Runway

It's Fashion Week season all over the world for Spring/Summer 2019. One of the top trends this year is NEON colors, but this isn't your typical mid 1980's to 1990's neon. This is fresh, clean, and truly inspiring. The look was found not only on the runway, but on the streets as well.

If this look makes you instantly think of the film TRON, you may not be far off. The past couple of years there has been a growing interest in 1980's looks, and the 90's cyberpunk look. Highlighter yellow/green isn't the only color being used, but also neon pink, neon peach tones, and electric blue.

The color has hit runways across the world including New York, Paris, Milan, and London. The look is done with satin, lace, and cotton. A current favorite is to tone it down with tan/khaki colors to really make it pop, as well as with leopard print (to play off the tan but amp it up a notch.)
